Comprehensive Music Production

Full music production

From a rough acoustic demo to a fully realized commercial release. 400 €/day for end-to-end creative partnership.

Bringing Your Musical Vision to Life

Music production is the most immersive and creatively demanding service we offer at Bivinylfiora. It goes far beyond simply hitting the record button; it is the process of building a song from the ground up, shaping its structure, defining its sonic identity, and guiding the artist to their best possible performance. Whether you are a solo singer-songwriter with a notebook full of lyrics and a basic chord progression, or a band looking to refine your arrangements for a debut album, our full-scale music production service provides the expertise, instrumentation, and objective ear needed to turn your raw ideas into a commercial-ready master.

Led by our Lead Producer, Carlos Mendoza, our production team partners with you creatively. We operate out of our premium 150m² facility in Madrid, utilizing both the Control Room for programming and synthesis, and the Live Room for capturing authentic acoustic performances. We believe that a great production serves the song first and foremost. We do not impose a specific "studio sound" onto your music; rather, we work to uncover the unique aesthetic that best communicates the emotion and intent of your composition.

The Production Workflow: From Demo to Master

Our music production service encompasses a holistic, multi-stage workflow designed to nurture your project at every step of its development. When you book a production day rate with us, you gain access to a structured yet flexible creative process:

  1. Pre-Production and Arrangement: This is the foundation. We sit down with you to listen to your demos, analyze the song structure, critique the lyrics, and discuss the overall vibe. We explore different tempos, keys, and rhythmic feels. We decide which instruments will carry the melody and which will provide the rhythm. This stage often involves laying down a "scratch track" or click track to guide the recording process.
  2. Sound Design and Programming: For electronic, pop, and hip-hop genres, we dive deep into sound design. We program drum beats, design custom synthesizer patches, and create the underlying electronic framework of the track. Even for acoustic-driven songs, subtle programming can add a modern edge and rhythmic stability.
  3. Tracking and Recording: With the arrangement solidified, we move to the recording phase. We utilize our world-class gear—including the Neumann U87, Neve preamps, and SSL Console—to capture pristine performances of guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, and, most importantly, vocals. We guide you through the performance, ensuring maximum emotional impact.
  4. Editing and Comping: We meticulously edit the recorded audio, tightening up drum performances, tuning vocals (ranging from natural pitch correction to extreme stylistic effects), and compiling the best parts of multiple takes to create a flawless composite performance.
  5. Mixing and Mastering Integration: While mixing and mastering are distinct services, they are intrinsically linked to the production process. A production day rate implies that we are building the track with the final mix in mind. We balance the elements as we go, ensuring that the transition into the final mixing and mastering stages (handled by our specialist Diego Ramos) is seamless and highly effective.

Why Choose Bivinylfiora for Production?

Choosing a producer is a significant commitment. At Bivinylfiora, we offer a unique blend of technical mastery and artistic empathy. Our studio environment is deliberately designed to foster creativity. The warm, analog-inspired aesthetics (reflecting our Bivinylfiora branding) provide a comfortable, inspiring atmosphere, far removed from the sterile, clinical feel of many modern facilities. Located conveniently near Metro San Bernardo, the studio is an accessible creative hub right in the heart of Madrid.

Furthermore, you benefit from our extensive network of session musicians. If your track needs a live string quartet, a funk bassline, or a soaring guitar solo, we can source and hire top-tier local talent to bring those elements to life in our Live Room. We handle the logistical headache, allowing you to focus entirely on the creative direction of your music.

We pride ourselves on our technical infrastructure. The combination of our Genelec monitoring system, analog outboard gear, and extensive plugin library means we have every sonic tool available to realize any sound you can imagine. From vintage 70s rock warmth to hyper-modern, sub-heavy pop production, we have the expertise to execute it at an industry-standard level.

Day Rates and Booking Terms

Due to the intensive and immersive nature of music production, we offer this service primarily on a day-rate basis. The cost is 400 € per day (484.00 € including the 21% IVA). A standard production day consists of a 10-hour block (e.g., 10:00 to 20:00), allowing for deep, uninterrupted workflow without the pressure of a ticking hourly clock. This rate includes the producer's fee, full use of the studio facilities, and the engineering required during the session.

A 50% deposit secures your production days in our calendar. As with all our services, we offer a 48-hour free cancellation policy. We guarantee a 24-hour response time to all production inquiries. Your project files and sessions will be securely archived for 6 months, and we offer 2 included rounds of revisions on the final production arrangement before moving to the mix stage. For B2B clients, standard 30-day payment terms apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many days does it take to produce a song?

This varies wildly depending on the complexity of the track and how much preparation you have done. A simple acoustic track with vocals might be produced, recorded, and prepped for mixing in a single day. A dense, multi-layered pop or rock track with extensive programming and live instrumentation might require 3 to 5 days of dedicated production time.

Do I retain the rights to the music produced?

Absolutely. You retain 100% of the copyright to your composition and the master recording. Our producer fee is a work-for-hire arrangement. We do not claim publishing or master royalties unless a separate, explicit co-writing or co-production agreement is negotiated in advance.

What if I only have a voice memo of my idea?

That is perfectly fine! Many incredible songs start as a simple voice memo recorded on a phone. Our job as producers is to take that core melody and lyric and build the entire musical universe around it. We thrive on taking raw concepts and developing them into full arrangements.

Does the 400 € day rate include mixing and mastering?

The production day rate covers the creative arrangement, recording, editing, and building of the track. Formal mixing and mastering are distinct, highly specialized processes that occur after production is finished. However, we often negotiate project packages that bundle production days with our flat-rate mixing and mastering services for a complete end-to-end solution.
